I think by labelling their stuff as V-Power without an octane rating, they feel they are able to push the price up as there's nothing to compare it with.

Sainsbury's SUL is typically 2p more per litre than 95 RON.

I'm not sure. I remember checking last time I got some and couldn't see it on the pump.

And if it is, it's the only one that claims to be 99RON is it not?

In Germany I bought V-Power 95.
I then bought Shell superdoopersomething 100RON.

The latter was 1.53 Euro FFS!

Fuel is cheaper here than France, Belgium and Germany BTW.

Checked last night, no RON number on the pump so this I think is why they think they can get away with charging more. That and the F1 link.
