Ahh yes, DVDs

I expect most have you have also watched

'What not to wear'

Judging by meet attire

This does not appear to have worked

So you will understand if I am less than convinced about slip angles

The DVD actually made not a lot of sense to me before the day, having now experienced it I can now totally appreciate it. For once, I get it.

When are you coming on a driving meet Gad?

Yes, I would like to see photos of your attire

That could be a new thread in itself. I once saw Field
dressed to the 9's in Honda/Bar full dress.

not any time soon

they are a pain in the arse most of the time

I'm quite convinced there will be a fatal accident on one before I stop contributing to this forum

the problems are well documented - people taking mad risks to catch up, lunatics joining the group and civilians taking umbrage

there are exceptions, but they tend to be small groups and involve only people with whom you are already well acquainted

back o/t - comparing the S2000 to a 996 is a pretty pointless exercise

FFS

How many people do you know who can tell you what a slip angle is?

(Without quoting from Wikipedia)

I'm sure we all can; just like walking up stairs.

It's only when one thinks about the process, one falls over.

It wouldn't surprise me either, I have seen some apaulling driving on meets ...... one of the reasons I avoid most of the bigger driving meets.

Pehaps fortunately, no-one else knows WTF I'm talking about half the time and are confused by it the rest of the time.
I consider myself both fortunate and more than slightly worried that most of what you say makes perfect sense to me.....
