Road captains

Another new one seems to be people that will proceed up long two lane exit roads to turn right, in the right hand lane, at the slowest possible speed without stalling, when the road front and back is empty apart from you/me
Oh yes, they start in Eastbourne and eventually get to graduate to Seaford .... Then they try to leave Sussex nightmare
People speeding up when your overtaking really gets my blood boiling, they see it as some sort of insult/challenge even when doing less than the speed limit - generally seems to be people in dare i say less inferior cars.
My mate used to do this and it really pissed me off (its dangerous), to the point where i fell out with him for a wee while.
When I'm cruising at x mph and someone wants to get pass, they can do doesn't matter if its a fiesta 1.0L or a Nissan GTR.

very dangerous roids.. i followed someone who did that to me and had a road rage incident with him
small, fat, weedy guy with glasses. probably a weeny cock too. i doubt he did it twice.
i mellowed now, they just get the finger

Probably a lot is reason these people are failures in life is they have never grown up and still act like children.
If they're that immature, they shouldn't be allowed to procreate, let alone hold a driving licence.

Had another one this week.
A long line of traffic on a single carriageway A road, 60mph limit.
There were a few chances to overtake but no attempts were made. As we approached a roundabout I timed my entrance with the traffic and was therefore able to pass a Merc as he pulled away from a standing start.
He didn't like that. Despite me being nowhere near him, the entrance to and around the roundabout being a good two lanes he took it a bit personally. He spent the next mile or so faking to overtake me - both inside and outside, crossing hatched junction markings all sorts of loony stuff. I ignored him.
Until the opportunity to overtake the car in front presented itself and I disappeared into the distance giving him a little wave.

We shouldn't be surprised at the level of ignorance out there. Take dual carriageways with a central reservation - the NSL on these roads is 70, not 60. On the A449 between Ombersley and Worcester - which is one such road - there are 2 speed cameras Southbound and one Northbound - around a third of drivers will slow to 60 as they approach these. On the Northbound carriageway as you come off the first roundabout from Jcn 6 of the M5 the outside lane is covered in white hatched markings but with a broken white line dividing the two lanes - so you can use the outside lane to overtake if it's safe to do so. I will on average get at least one horn blast from the sheep in lane 1 when I use the hatched lane to overtake them.
