chris, i can see your point BUT lying about a speeding ticket is something a lot of people would consider.. it's not something I'd ever in a million years lock someone up for.. lets put it to the vote..

And lying in order to provide an alibi for a relative when they've been accused of speeding / leaving the scene of an accident / rape / etc

My point is that perjury is perjury - why allow degrees of perjury depending on popular acceptance of the original crime
