Schmidt would be awesome if they let her wacky personality take control.
I've heard from numerous sources that Clarksons ability to drive in the capacity he would have you believe is questionable. Imagine an alternative view provided by her on the cars he cannot control. Would be rather amusing but yeah - it won't happen.

The laps of the Monaco F1 circuit is the first time in a good while I've been *properly* jealous of what they get to do.

Sod racing a jet and a Veyron, hot hatches round Monaco in race configuration would be awesome.

Bloody terrifying, I'd have thought.

No run-off areas at all; no good for a freakin' idiot like me...

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but there has been at least 4 times in the first two episodes of this season that the music behind the films has been from Daft Punk's amazing Tron Legacy soundtrack album.

It looks like it has taken over from Rob Dougan's Furious Angels as the producer's favourite album.

Also the car stuff is pretty good.

Yet again more instances of the Tron Legacy soundtrack in tonight's episode.

Once you notice something like that you keep on noticing.

Anyway, MP4-12C - brilliant, 7K cars - brilliant (including an S2K), Vettel - brilliant, Evoque - not sure on that, my friend is getting one but I'm not keen.

Good episode.

the editor will place some music they know works (usually something they are familiar with).. until they find something better, which typically they don't hence a bit of repetition.. Brian Eno instrumental stuff get's used quite a bit if you know what to listen for..

I was surprised to hear rolling stones tonight.. the stones don't give freebies, so assuming it was original - I wonder what 15 seconds of gimmie shelter costs..

Yeh, it was great to see the Evoque after seeing it at a very cold, wet and damp PH Sunday Service back in March at Jaguar/Land Rover. Looked an interesting car then, but at £43k I think it is hideously overpriced.
