classic mini's still wave (or did!). it was relatively common when i had mine (8-9 years ago) and i dare say it's even more common place since it's more of an enthusiasts car now...

if you are driving a classic (or in our case S) and see another classic (or S yadda yadda) then in my book there are only two reasons for not waving or at least reciprocating a wave
a) you didn't see the other car for some weird reason (corners etc)
or
b) you are a w****r

Landy drivers (and those with 06 plates on are exempt from this) are ace, they always wave.
But.. Townies generally don't know this rule.
