classic mini's still wave (or did!). it was relatively common when i had mine (8-9 years ago) and i dare say it's even more common place since it's more of an enthusiasts car now...
Always used to give and receive plenty when I had my Mini Cooper. Wish I still had that car now!

Aston owners do.
Am passengering in friends just restored DB5 to AM auction at Newport Pagnell on Saturday.
We expect to wave and be waved at as we encounter other Astons en route and on our return. I suspect the waves will be gentlemanly and discreet as befits the carraige and class of BRITISH car.

What other marques exhibit this sense of camaraderie and wave?
They do this like "coffee bean shaking" wave.
Can't understand it myself, but they are probably all nice people if only not very well off.
Thanks Gary

there are loads of s's around here, probably see at least one on most journeys I make which is a massive increase in the last few years. When I had mine I used to wave, they were rarer and owners seemed to be more enthusiastic, now I think a lot of people just own them because they are 2 seater convertibles (not on the forum obviously) and think you're a bit bonkers if you wave.
I usually wave at Subaru drivers and you usually get a wave back - weirdly they are quite rare around here and the impreza turbo and Sti are still usually driven by enthusiasts. I don't wave at other Subaru except maybe forester sti which is again an enthusiasts car.

I have not seen any other S2000's on this manor for ages so I cannot test the theory of S2k drivers still waving or not! ( Where have you all gone? )
I get lots of waves from Land Rover Defenders when I am out in mine, although utility and Td4 Defenders do not wave back.
I've borrowed my sisters motor-camper a few times and plenty of other motor-home drivers / passengers wave.
