Anybody have this problem on a regular basis at constant speeds (only)? Anybody have this fixed at a local dealer in the Charlotte area and had a good experience? - 2001 S2K

 

Thankfully, I've not had this problem. . .

Have a Honda tech ride with you and show him/her what happens. . .your S2000 is under warranty and they'll be sure to get it right!

 

I *think* mine popped out of 4th once over the weekend, I was accellerating and right around the time vtec was about to kick in, I was going for the clutch and right before my foot got there, I heard it do something freaky like rev way up *too* fast, it wasn't just the vtec. It scared me cause I thought I blew it up so I didn't really think about what happened, I just stopped driving like a mad man for about 5 minutes. But now that I think about it, perhaps it popped out of gear? I'll have to experiment with that on a deserted road sometime.... I'm not worried, I got the cool 7 year/100k mile warranty plan!
