First of all, I wouldn't go to a lighter flywheel than the 13lb flywheel that comes on AP1s. Talk to Yves and several other guys that daily drive their car and put on a light weight flywheel. It can become a pain to drive normally, because the revs drop so fast. I already bought a resurfaced AP1 flywheel to use on my next clutch setup. I will save like 8-9 lbs over my heavy ass AP2 flywheel.
I'm running an ap1 flywheel on my '05 motor. I like it better than the stock ap2's, but I miss my comptech flywheel. I never considered it a problem, just the character of the car with that part on it.

Thanks everyone for the input, especially you Rich.

Now when I say I DD the car, I work 1/2 mile from where I work. I never get out of 4th gear normally because I drive through my apartment complex, down another residential road, and across a small 2 lane business park road into the parking lot of where I work. When I work at my other job, it is a 15 minute across town commute that is a really easy drive, even in 5 o'clock traffic.

Pedal feel is nothing for me. Having driven a 99 Cobra and a 00 GT Stang daily for almost 3 years combined, their pedal pressure was CRAZY. I wouldn't mind a stiffer one (no homo).

With that being said, let me also say I don't mind chatter. My car is loud with the Exhaust and I am about install an amp, new door components, and a in dash DVD player, so I can drown out that chatter.

I do hate the rattle off take off. I don't think I *need* a light weight flywheel, but if the clutch was going in anyway I was gonna pony up.

Rich I am going to look into the clutch you recommended. I know clutches are almost as much preference as exhaust is. Thanks for all the great replies.

That's very true! Everyone has their favorite.

Half a mile drive!! I'd just walk it! That would be nice to live that close to work.

By the way, last time I saw your car you had the stock exhaust. What exhaust did you go with?

my2ks2k, I have an AP1, and I hope the place would resurface it with the new clutch install, but I may be wrong. I'll keep everyone updated.
