the only reason I can think of failing is if you take it to a place where the guy doing the work has "heard" a test pipe on a car and can spot yours out. I would not go to a "pure" inspection place, b/c they make their money off of fixes for inspections, i.e. gas caps, wiper blades, blubs, etc.

 

i didnt pass with a test pipe, with the fix and no cel. New emission test

 

I have to get my inspection done sometime as it died in Feb. Luckly I am registered in a non emission co!
