Hood insulation Q

So, the CR has no hood insulation, do we need it on our normal S2000s? Is it mainly for heat or noise?

I would say heat....... I don't think ANYTHING could be done to quiet down the F series engines

Yea, without it the paint may start spider cracking from the heat. I would leave it on.
