Default problems with tranny install

I just replaced my tranny and clutch on my 2001 s2000. I put a 02 tranny on it. Tranny shifts out good. For some reason the release fork that the clutch slave cylinder sits on keeps popping out of place. Does anyone know what the problem my be or is there a special why to put the shift fork on?

I've never had that problem, and I've done several clutches. Are you sure the slave is properly seated in the indentation for the release fork?

where are you located? Is your car on a lift? I could try and take a look at it. The fork may not be aligned properly and is causing it to pop out.
