^yea, kinda like that, but more of just smoking them and making them dark instead of completely covered, like dark red with only the reverse light still clear and white, all the red like a dark tint

Make them as you wish, I never meant I implemented your design, just that I had successfully opened and re-sealed my lights.

no that's completely fine, how did u open them? and how long did it take? just basics and stuff.

Follow these instructions for heat and times in the oven.

Rather than pry the headlight lense, pry the taillight. It's not exactly the same, but do-able. Gotta go with the flow as you're peeling them apart.

I did it in less than a few hours, just have to go slow and be careful.
