Default Radar Detectors

Are Radar Detectors Legal in NC

Has anyone ever been given a ticket for having one in thier car while crusin in NC?

Any recomendations?

yes, they're legal. I have a Valentine 1 and it's saved my bacon several times. Well worth the $$.

Becareful though cause cops are very very sneaky, they have ways to catch you that does not use radar and can't be detected by anything!!!! Trust me i know. Also the new point and shoot radar is hard to catch becasue once it hits your car thenyour toast, the only thing the detector can say is....your screwed!!

yeah the new radars have a stand-by mode, all they do is flip a switch and zap!
