I'm just messing with you. I have full confidence you won't mess it up too bad. This is coming from the guy who didn't even close off the ends of the cut wire, after all!

There is a module on the market for this conversion ,,, it keeps all of the speed sensors factory and does all the switching for you ... $169.00 +7.00 shipping .. very nice and works really well ... contact was at 9works.net .. email .or pm me and i will give the number ... easy install ... comes complete with everthing need ...

$176 to do something that can be accomplished by simply cutting one wire? That's tempting......

This mod does not affect the speed sensor. It affects the speed sensor output to the convertible module.

If your patient, you can disconnect the individual wire instead of cutting. I don't get the $169 module thing.....this is a foolproof mod, for free. It has no affect on any other part of the car, I've done about 40 cars in the Metro area...

So I just took of the panel and one of my clips went "ping" and disappeared into the netherworld of the dash. Can't find it. Any suggestions in getting a replacement?
