I'm also prepping for a stage 2 SC from SOS. I just read through this entire thread because I'm running into the same EMS issue of AEM or Kpro. Leaning towards Kpro for emissions. Just installed the ACT pressure plate with OEM AP1 flywheel and friction disk. While the car was on the lift, mechanic told me my right front wheel bearing is going bad. Haha I feel like we're going through the exact same issues with slightly different setup. I have the UK exhaust mod and curious how the car sounds with the SC installed.
I went K-Pro because of the deal and emissions.How did he tell it was bad ON THE LIFT? Usually you know by hearing the whine out of it.
I nixed the UK mod partially because it was too loud and it didn't give me the deeper tone I was looking for. Oh well. All in all it only cost me a couple bucks as I sold the modded exhaust and picked up(gas $$$) for a 2005 used exhaust(no tips) someone was getting rid of. I already had AP2 tips.
It's not going in till at least this winter or possibly next spring. Life/$$$ and time have killed my ability to do sooner.
