Default windshield needs replacing

So i was going down the highway and my windshield got cracked by a rock. Does anyone know a good shop in the raleigh/cary/durham area that uses OEM windshields. Thanks!

I understand that insurance companies will replace cracked windshields with no deductable. You should check into this.

Sorry but I can't help you with a recommendation for where to get it fixed.

It will be better to get a windshield other than OEM. The OEM one is to soft and chips really easily. I forgot what brand folks recommend, you can do a search and find out easily.

Anybody know how much a Lexan windshield would cost? I know from teaching forcible entry that Lexan is 250x stronger than tempered glass. It can deflect a direct blow from a 10lb axe.
