If you take I-5, and you're right, awesome!
If you take I-5, and you're wrong, it'll be the longest drive ever.
If you take 101, and you're right, it'll be a little longer, but purdy.
If you take 101, and you're wrong, it'll be a little longer, still purdy, but soupy.
I like purdy things; take 101.

1. What kind of fries do you want with that?
2. Cheese, or no cheese? Cheese while doing the road trip =

Hmmm. This is one for the ages.It really depends on the food.
Beer and sausage is always a good pairing.
Bloody Mary and a "skillet" breakfast is excellent.
Due to nearly everything being more robust than Hollandaise, you can't go wrong with Champagne or a Mimosa with Eggs Benedict.
My personal favorite is a Bloody Mary with Steak&Eggs.
