Well, this is my first flood. Never had an earthquake, hurricane, mudslide, etc. I've been through a handful of very bad snowstorms, though some of my friends from college went through ones that shut the city down for a week+.
As for Tornadoes - went through one when I was very young, I don't really remember it. The NWS fired off the Tornado sirens so often back home, that it was like a boy crying wolf. My brother and I would usually go outside on the golf course and watch for one, or if we were at my dad's we'd go next door (they had a basement) and have a Tornado party - sit in the garage and drink, waiting for a tornado. The good life

Im thinkin thats (the Purple ones) Gayfeather Liatris which I also grow and love and some beebalm and some Rubikia (the Yellow flowers) or they call them Black eyed Susans sometimes

I LOVE seeing them and it kinda brightens up the situation with all that devestation of water everywhere
