Well, this is my first flood. Never had an earthquake, hurricane, mudslide, etc. I've been through a handful of very bad snowstorms, though some of my friends from college went through ones that shut the city down for a week+.

As for Tornadoes - went through one when I was very young, I don't really remember it. The NWS fired off the Tornado sirens so often back home, that it was like a boy crying wolf. My brother and I would usually go outside on the golf course and watch for one, or if we were at my dad's we'd go next door (they had a basement) and have a Tornado party - sit in the garage and drink, waiting for a tornado. Forgot snowstorms. Went through a few good snow and ice storms when I was in college in Eastern Washington.

BILLY this is so INCREDIBLE I am stunned at these photos You did a great job showing us what an awfull situation is going on there! I LOVE this one you gave me with the Perinials Im thinkin thats (the Purple ones) Gayfeather Liatris which I also grow and love and some beebalm and some Rubikia (the Yellow flowers) or they call them Black eyed Susans sometimes You are just toooooo sweet to post those for Mom I LOVE seeing them and it kinda brightens up the situation with all that devestation of water everywhere I sure hope it goes away soon!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again Bud!!!
