I have only felt the need to do a test once, it was negative, all 3 of my 's have had it and 1 Daughter in Law but C-6 & I have somehow kept it out of our bodies.

 

Well it was bound to happen, my daughter and I got covid on the same day, we went to the bank. Four days before we tested pos.on monday we were at the bank. Put Cindy up at a very nice hotel at soon as I tested pos. and she is still testing neg. so on Friday if she still test neg. she will go stay at our sons house. All I have is a runny nose and a headache, the headache is why I tested myself(I just never get headaches). My 31 year old daughter has the runny nose and a sore throat and she is on Paxlovid I have to get the monoclonal infusion because one of the meds I take should not be used with Paxlovid. She takes pills for five days, I get to go to the hospital for three days i a row. Oh well its not like I could or should be out and about with covid.

Sorry to read this Rod, sounds like your on it though and I'm glad Cindy is ok!

Oodly I was just thinking hmmmmm wonder if Rods gonna come do his monthly update and then I read this

 

The bank is the only place my daughter and I were together. When I woke up on monday with a headache I took a test and it was pos. I called my daughter to see how she was and she had a scratchy throat so she tested herself. The trip to the bank was 4 days earlier, so that is why we think we picked it up at the bank. Cindy gets the updated booster shot every 3 months, back in early Nov. I was with her when she got her second updated booster shot and the nurse asked me which arm I waned it in. I said my left and he gave me my sixth covid shot.
I will say if I didn't know I had covid I would be out there spreading it, I don't even have(symptoms wise) what I would call a mild cold. My doctor told me its the type of covid I got and all the shots that I got. LOL

Cindy is still testing neg. and her hotel stay is costing a pretty penny with my other daughter and her family coming over every night just in time for dinner to keep her company, good timing. I can look up the room charges and last nights dinner was $153 not counting the tip. I'd rather have her spending the money and having a little fun rather than getting sick. I'm just jealous I'm stuck at home with just our two dogs.

it will all be in the past before Christmas and you can ALL be together

Hopefully I'll be over Covid by Monday(test neg.), then if I still test neg. on Tuesday Cindy can come home.
This is the longest we have been apart since we've been married and that is 44 years. At night I find myself reaching over for someone whos not there, wakes me up every time.
If she gets to come home Tuesday I think we'll jump in the Jeep and go find us some snowy roads to play on. Got some new snow over the weekend that's suppose to stop on Monday.
