Home made wood oven style pizza cooked at home tonight in my Ooni Koda oven. Thin crust, home made dough, home made tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella, mushrooms, green peppers, and topped with fresh basil and parsley. My family loves it. The oven cooks a pizza in 90 seconds , at 800 degrees.

I know, it will go over 900 degrees if you go nuts. It is always a balancing act to not burn it, so you are constantly rotating the pizza while cooking. Real wood ovens are the same way.

That's a nice looking pie, my fav part of it is the burnt bits on the crust.

I may be taking a job that has a wood fired oven for it's Neapolitan style pizza, tried a pie during my interview this afternoon.

Thanks, yeah they all seem to have a bit of charred bits, tonight's was a bit too much but it still came out good.

A great Neapolitan pizza is hard to beat. That would be cool if you got into that place and could eat one whenever you wanted lol. All the best.

The burnt parts add a bit of smokiness to the pie, some people get & a lot don't.

It was good, could've been baked a bit more ATMO. Thank you & I've enjoyed my break from a working kitchen, it's time to get back in & getting burned again.
