also, thanks for your help with this problem. i don't think my friend knows how to run a tracert. i'm probably going to head down there this weekend and see what the problem is

he wasn't able to log onto www.hotmail.com
thing is, with mozilla (which he was able to succesfully download
) he has none of these problems.
