Yeah, but you can lose a day quickly if, like me, you copy and remove all your music 2-3 times before you get the hang of it.

BTW -- The iTunes software has some VERY cool management features for a library and Smart Playlists are THE BOMB.

Strongly consider not deleting all your tuneage.

i was going to delete the music that i already have on cd's but not delete ones that i only have on here

I have ~ 6000 songs on my 'puter/iPod. All of it (downloaded, personally ripped, shared with friends) is all in one "pool" of music.

Check out the power of the smart playlists before you decide to exclude anythign from iTunes.

Unfortunately, my laptop only has a 40 gb hard drive... so I can't keep all my music on there. I figure as long as I have it on the iPod and backed up somewhere else, it'll be ok.
