In my opinion, you should do what you really want to do. Ultimately, you probably have already made up your mind and just want someone to confirm that your decision is a good one. So, if you're gonna do what you're want to do anyway, you may as well shoot for the fences.

Anyhoo...
a little update: long complicated weekend. Lots of hurt feelings. "A" is no longer in the picture.
"B" is hurt. I'm truly sorry for hurting "B"
I guess the one who you love the most will hurt you the most.
