I'm saying I'm dreading having to pack if we ever find a house we want. Luckily market here is dead so not much is popping up, let alone something of interest. Of course 2-3 years ago there were a few I was interested in....ugh. Such a dummy.

 

I’m noting the real estate market here is weird thanks to resource projects. Such wild fluctuations.

 

I’m saying real estate here is a mess there are no more rentals. All the monthly rentals have been bought up and turned into air b n b’s.

 

I'm saying the City put the clamp on Air BnB's here (good). Now they need to get rid of their good 'ol boy attitude and stop looking the other way when people violate their stupid zoning laws (or preferably get rid of their stupid zoning laws)...

 

They are trying to find a way to slow it down here but it isn't happening. What is happening is what most of us said would happen the people who own the air b n' b's can't find anyone to clean them or do maintenance work in them because GUESS WHAT there are no rentals for service people to live in.

 

Aside from that, they allow commercial zoning in residential areas and look the other way when people operate businesses where they technically can't. Therefore, less houses. ...I'm just sayin'. Meanwhile the place where businesses should be is stupid expensive...
