I haven't seen it in person yet..Alpine's typical slow release :banghead; I wish they didnt farg it up with mp3 and other ...its a friggen GPS..why cant it just be a GPS? The ability to hook it up to an external monitor/dock is killer!

okay,

I was thinking the same about the biolite.

That is cool about the monitor hookup for the blackbird, that makes it VERY appealing to me. Plus it's the nicest looking outboard unit I've seen.

I agree about the mp3 shit. that's just dumb.

They could have dropped the features and had a price point more competitive with Garmin and Tom-Tom, but this is Alpine we are talking about..they have all the answers.
