Bought some egg noodles when I went shopping. Every once in awhile I get a hankering for them. Cooked up a burger and made some egg noodles with peas, garlic, pepper, parmesan, romano and butter and had some spinach on the side.

We just finished up. My son loves rice, my wife and I like it too, so we thought we would give it a try. This one uses one part rice to one part water. This one is called Instant Zest rice cooker.

It cooks and steams, and is very easy to clean up as the rice comes out perfectly dry and fluffy, no sticking to the container. It worked really well very easy to use with digital settings. We made cilantro lime white rice tonight, squeezing a small lime into the cooker. The cooker was $59, I thought it was a good deal. We bought it at Homesense (same as Homegoods in the US)

I'm cooking up a chicken breast with dry mustard, garlic and pepper and some italian style breadcrumbs along with some all natural smoked andouille chicken sausage. Going to add some peas and egg noodles and possibly mix it all together.

We had Orecchiette pasta (pasta ears) , in a tomato sauce with a good bit of oregano and white beans. Eaten with a crusty baguette bread. Perfect comfort food on a cool day like today.
