O ye of little faith. I had my 10 yr. old faded red Miata painted at Maaco in Fraser for $250. Unbelievable bargain. Couple of Zaino coats and it shone like new. Co-worker bought it 1.5 years ago and hasn't even washed it, and it still looks great.

same color coat is probably fine. Maaco doesnt paint the engine bay, door jam etc if im not mistaken. changing the color is where the problem lies.

Hey, Frank sometimes changes his color MONTHLY

He even buys h/tops in a different color....just to give his body shop buziness!

He has a 'frequent finish' account there

as long as you prep the car youself ( wet sanding, bondo, paint doorjams) i have seen some decent jobs from macco. i am totally against taking short cuts on cars, but for a hatch i think macco is the only way to go especially if you bring you own paint!
