hmmm. i didn't notice 'man ass' but maybe thats because i didn't look for it either.

I was really impressed with how authentic everything seemed. yellowed teeth, even on the main protagonist, extreme piercings and authentic looking outfits, everything seemed done very well. he overdid it with the blood, though. when the man was thrown off the cliff and then it showed him hit the trees at the bottom, that was overboard, and cheesy. i liked a lot of the movie and it was well done!

 

I was thinking of catching this next weekend....it looked good

 

Saw it this weekend. (sorry late to the party) I really liked it. Perhaps not for mainstream audience but a very good movie.

Its basically a chase movie, but real "old school".

Have been to several Mayan ruins in Mexico I was looking forward to seeing his vision of the actual Mayan society brought to life. Looked fairly authentic from what the archeologists believe.

Bloodthrsty little buggers.
