Cloverfield
the movie was cool
the shaky camera didnt bother me it actually drew me in since i play a lot of fps games i was used to it and it made you feel like you were hud. the action was really cool like the tunnel scene and big monster going apesh1t in the city.
i just have a hard time believing that the us military is having a hard time killing the monster. tons of planes, cruise missles etc. reading all the things i missed i will go back and watch it again
btw. the scene when they were running back and hud ran into some guy yelling in a foreign language did anybody get what language was he speaking? some say its russian or chech maybe what he's saying could be a clue

As for the guy in the alley. I've read that he is japenese and all he says is that he needs to find his wife and daughter and that he cant live without them.

Well, the reason for the monster taking so many missiles, bullets, etc. is do to the fact that this monster lived in the very deepest parts of the ocean, possibly beneath it. So it has extremely tough skin from the pressure down there.

There are real creatures living in the deepest parts of the ocean - and they don't have very tough skin at all.
