Dear Ron,

I am really concerned. What does it mean that Smccoy gets all the snow but here in Chicago we got nothing. Is the world really coming to an end because of the climate change? If so, does that make Carter the smartest president since he told us it would happen?

Dear Ron:

Since the holiday season is upon us, should we all hold our important, life altering questions until after Christmas so that you can enjoy that special day with family and friends?

Signed,
Waiting for Santa in Cincy

ps. What time should I expect Santa to arrive at our house?

If Huskergirl gets 10" of snow today, Smccoy gets 1" of snow today, and Triman54 gets sunshine today, how many new toys will Lotter get for his S2000 this Christmas?

Signed,
Really bored in Cincy
None.

We are all adults here. We do not get "toys."

We get enthusiast aids.

I suppose Carter's presence does reflect well on his long-term planning horizon. We need more of that today. I point interested parties to the Long Now Foundation of which I am a charter member.

As far as you lack of freezing precip, that's a matter of weather, not climate. Despite the fact that all the data points to warming climate weather is still going to fluctuate about the mean, in both directions.

As to canned goods, go ahead and stock up. Almost every climate model so far has _under predicted_ the amount of warming and ice melt we are seeing this year. Get some sun screen too.

Nah. Every question is like a shiny little gift.

They sparkle so.

In answer to your query, after you go to sleep, of course!
