I am down for Whorelando. Love the Titan location as well. Put me on the 'afterhours meet committee' too...I know of a few spots

ok so I only read the first 2 pages and its seems like 4,5, and 6 are the same.....I'd like to meet some florida s2k members seeing as ive only had my car a few months and s2ki's florida community is dying.
Soo....
1.set the date( at least a month or 2 in advance so people can plan accordingly)
2.ocala gran prix sounds fine
3.game time
I'm 10 min. out of florida city so if i can go everyone can!

most counties don't even approve permits unless they are a min of 90 days out.
that being said. I am hanivg a meeting with Titan to see if its even something they want to so, since we (the S2k community) are not thier target customers.
time frame will be between 3 to 6 months, with all the exisiting events schedules either Oct or Jan seem to be good times.

planning needs to go off now and then we "announce" a date to the public that is 2-3 months out so people can plan to attend.
If you go with a private property owner (titan) they may need an insurance rider but permits are not needed as far as I know.
Barry (Indyana) was the contact with Plant City Rec dept. for getting the location we had the last one at...he should be able to offer some logistical advice on that topic.
Too much info to type it all out here...if you want to ask me questions, or hear my advice on where to start, give me a PM and we can set up a phone call.
Love the enthusiasm...it will be difficult to get all the ducks in a row though, being out of town and trying to plan a meet in Orlando... The more Titan is on board and able to help...the better.
We need to collect data on possible catering resources in that area...its going to be expensive in O-town unless we find a vendor thats hungry for business.
