Default Help me with an expected estimate for rear bumper

I am going to the Property Damage Appraisers place today to get an estimate for my car (got rear-ended the other day). I will definitely need a new bumper, and at least a new ap2 exhaust tip. Don't know if there was any damage to the actual exhaust or behind the bumper.

What's a general estimate for a new rear bumper, paint, labor etc? Don't want to get low balled by the insurance people, and don't know if I can show up with some knowledge to help persuade them

I just had the front bumper replaced on the Odyssey after a hit and run.

bumper cover, 1 headlight (which was about 2-300), paint and labor was about $1200 and they used genuine Honda parts.

you should go to a body shop, they will give you the most accurate info.

here you will get guesses and opinions, not that its a bad thing, but for real info go to the source.

if you want to look up parts.....majestichonda.com

Is insurance covering this? If so, why worry about price? I'd find the most reputable shop and go that way.
