Yeah,
I only started getting into racing a couple of years ago. After my first Indy race, I went to work all excited about what I had witnessed in St. Pete the day before. I asked one of my co-workers who is a big Nascar fan, if this now makes me a redneck because I had enjoyed it so much. He looked at me and said, "Bud, what you done there is went to an Indy race. That is like the wine and cheese crowd. A Nascar fan is more like your Budweiser crowd...so no, you ain't a redneck yet".

Well, with the sponsorship of IZOD, I am going to have a hard time convincing him otherwise.

thraak - to your co-worker, at least IRL makes left AND right turns. Still not into NASCAR and I was born and raised in Richmond, VA. I grew up being able to little hear the cars at the track from our house. If you had the house windows open you didn't need the sound on the TV....seriously.

Re: Decals. You guys haven't seen the decal layout/design? I have that and thought it was shared amongst "the group" weeks ago. Let me know and I can post. RoB should have the shipment Monday. My order to do up the Ridgeline, etc. arrived Friday. No time to break it all out but I did crack open the box and all looks good.

No worries RoB. After I posted I saw the pics in the other thread. All is good. Didn't mean to appear like a bus was headed down the expressway. Decals are what they are. We didn't get input this year but we'll make them work the best we can...like always bud.

Is anyone from Orlando going to the meets or race? It would be nice to drive there as a group.

Hopefully, there will be others. I wouldn't mind meeting up with others along the way also. As it stands, here is what I'm planning:

Thursday 3/25 (Downtown Parade Day)- Leave N.E. Orlando around 1 p.m.

Saturday 3/27 (The day before the Main Event) -Leave N.E. Orlando around 9 a.m.

Saturday evening-Hotel in St. Pete.

I'd discuss with your paint guy that you're wanting to do this decal program. They are very low tack and meant for temporary use but saying all of that I would take a pass this year just to be extra safe.
