good or bad, I want to get a concensus on what went right and what went wrong.

I have a pretty good flame suit but I am not looking for unfiltered hate here LOL

if it can be improved, it will be. We look at this as something that can really grow and become something greater each year. To make it as good as it can be, we need input on what worked and what could have been better.

I am going to merely take notes on this thread. I am not going to defend anything because it was what it was. I dont want ANYONE to think they should not post their thoughts in here because they may get judged or people will flame them.

Please refrain from making defensive comments on our behalf or inflammatory comments as this thread should serve the purpose of pure critique and brainstorming.

I think the car wash guy should have gotten there earlier so he could do more cars!

On a real note, you guys needed more sweet tea! that unsweet was torture! I put 5 packets of sugar in and it didnt even budge it!

 

The meet should be on PuddyDad/Mom time

I suggest getting S2Ki to help sponsor the meet next time. It would be good for the members to see their money doing something useful and not just "paying for server hosting" which is a load of crock.

Edit: A friend said that some of you might take this message the wrong way. I mean it in all sincerity though... all of the time, effort, and cash you guys put into this thing should be sponsored in part by the organization you are representing - especially considering FL has one of the deepest member rosters in the country.

 

I can't think of a single criticism of the meet. I would suggest that next time the group drive groups be voluntarily split according to driving style/experience. But that sounds like a logistics nightmare! Just a thought.

i think it went pretty good. Maybe more venders with things for sale. Kamispeed's setup was nice, but i didnt have cash on me. Other than that, it was awesome!! tons of fun!

 

I'm no longer a member because the only benefit I saw from my paid membership was the ability to use the For Sale forum, which I used once and my post got deleted.

 

This coming from a not complainer type of person.

From the South FL group, we drove since 7:30am and 2 stops, therefore we got there "kinda" late (12:40 i believe) I was on the group that paid to eat etc, when I went eat, the meat was cold, not "little" cold, just cold (for the fee a bit better organization in that department could be good) there was a sad Publix tea with no sugar, and no sugar to put, I had to open like 4 things of silverware to put salt) Fries were cold, chicken was cold and there was no Potato Salad (as I ordered) ... half of my group went eat @ a Quiznos I believe but the few that paid, couldn't even eat 20% that food, maybe better logistics as far as the food for next year could be good, The ladies that were serving were very nice though, as far as the rest, It was a well organized event.
