Thanks to Puddydad for my stage 2 Diff
This pic is of the balance on the ring and LSD carrier assembly. The rear is balanced at less than a thousands of an inch true round. By taking the time to balance the rear like this it will run extremely smooth with such a accurate balance.

This pic is of the PuddyMod solid steel sleeve on the pinion. The factory crush sleeve is just to the right front for reference

This pic shows the turning torque on the flange after the PuddyMod solid steel sleeve is set. The torque is set at 12 inch pounds.

This pic shows the backlash and gear to gear pattern, backlash is set at 3 to 3.3 thousands, the pattern looks great.

This is the finished rear build, note the information on the LSD also note the excellent gear to gear contact.

Puddy diff ready for install to be back in action

My diff finally deciced to let go after 102k miles and a few autocrosses. So i contacted Puddy to fix my up with something stronger. I figured while he was in there why not do a gear? I decided i enjoy shifting and wanted something short so i went with the 4.77 and like Ben(Puddydad) told me the gear is fantastic. I huge improvement over stock for what i was looking for. Ben's service is top notch. I pulled my diff out and he had it back to me in less then a week. I'm still breaking everything in but so far it's great. The gear is nice and quiet with no whine at all. I cant say enough about the service Puddydad provided for me and the quality of work he does. I'm very lucky that he is a local member and i could deal with him personally. I highly recomend his services. He took pictures of the build and i will post them up when he emails them to me or he can chime in and post them.
