Well I couldn't take it anymore, I had to loose the Black windshield tape on my Suzuka baby.

Got out a hair dryer, the entire process from start to finsh took less than 25 min. The paint underneath is perfect. I started at the drivers door and it came off in three pieces. WD40 took off the glue (not much was left). I think the car looks much better. I will post some pics soon.

BTW Black S2K's don't have the tape. After I saw that I knew the pillars were painted.

I agree 100%. I took the tape off several months ago on my silver S and I think it looks much better. Should have done it in the beginning. Like that blue for 2002. Might have been my color if it was offered in '01. Later.

Yeah i just did this too. It looks sweet. Much better than before in my opinion.

 

would love to see some picts of the blue with the top up when you have a chance i am thinking of removing my tape too
