You have no idea how much a larger TV helps.... i use to call over the mic asking what the score was and how many kill there where in R6 cause the TV was to small to see the detail. 20" -> 46" FTW
Oh, I KNOW.

A widescreen TV would help a LOT too. Wider field of view.

Bad news: A new TV is NOT in the budget right now. Good news: when it IS in the budget it will be a 46" widescreen LCD.

i was just looking at a 42" plasma for the bedroom... about $1000 to start - at best buy. Not so bad. I wouldn't be adverse to buying used or from some online vendor for that cheap a unit, tho.

It's really crazy how much the prices have dropped for flat panels. I have a 37" LCD that we bought about 7 months ago. The 42" version of our exact TV is the same price as ours 7 months ago.

yup. we could get a 1080P version of our Plasma today for HUNDREDS less than I paid for my 720p version exactly a year ago.
