Oil Change?
Not being an oil engineer I can't say that my opinion is any good...but if you have some time and haven't already you should really check out the oil faq in the "under the hood" section. There's some really long debates and good information offered up. here's the link hope it helps
Since you do not drive a lot, you should change your oil based on time. Six months for conventional oil and 1 year for synthetic oil. You should not use synthetic until after 7500 miles.
Since factory filled oil contains very high Molybdenum, you should use Havoline GF4 oil, it has more Moly than most conventional oil, which can be found at any autopart store and at Walmart too. You may want to add 1/2 bottle of Valvoline Synpower Oil Treament to get more Moly to mimic factory filled oil. This VSOT is not available at Walmart in California, it can be found only at Pepboys.
