Default Hesitation in V-tec?

It just started this morning. Above 6k the car hesitates badly. Anyone have any idea what this could be?
Thanks,
Aaron

I had the exact same problem, and everyone told me it was the map sensor.

I took it into the dealer and all it is was that I was low on oil. VTEC uses oil pressure to engage. When you drive the car in higher rpms, it burns oil (just as many high revving hondas do... it's normal). So check your oil level.

My problem was due to bad gas. I refilled with octane booster and no problems since.

Mine is falling on its face also. Under partial throttle it will hit 7 grand otherwise 6 grand then nothing. The oil is full therefore dealer next week. I sure miss that last 3000 rpm.

Mine just stumbled through v-tec. It still went all the way up just sputtering a bit. I hope you get your problem fixed without too much hassle from Honduh.
