what kind of ems are you using? If you are running aem you only need one wire to go to the solenoid. That one that says go.

 

using aem ems. there is 4 wires. 2 that go to the vtec oil pressure sensor? 1 that goes to the oil pressure sensor on the block and the other I dont know either?

 

This is for an '00 AP1; might have changed.

Excuse the long thread revival

I’m not too electrically savvy. I have a sidewinder manifold on my turbo ap1. I’m running aem v2 ems. All I know is the connectors are gone. There is a bolt used to plug the vtec oil pressure sensor since aem is controlling vtec. There is only one wire runing from the vtec solenoid cap and merges to the coil pack loom. If i want to replace the the entire vtec solenoid assembly, how do I go about it with just that one wire coming from under the cap?
