after a little bit of waiting, i think i've seen the s2000 that i want.

its a 2004 berlina with only 15k for the mileage.

The dealership is asking 23,991

What are the chances of me knocking it down to 20k OTD?

What do i say in order to bring it down!

your chances of offereing 24000 out the door is much better.

 

Depends on how bad they want to get rid of the car. I went into a dealership that was asking 29K for an 2004 S2000 (in 2005) and was able to get them to 25,500. Good luck with your bargaining!!

You're better off giving the lowest offer, then working your way up.

 

20k OTD, thats a little extreme, but worth a shot

 

oooh yea, im thinking about 20k as an offer

but my real acceptable price is probably 22k OTD

just trying to see if i can get lucky!

You go in and say hey i will give you $20k. Make sure you tell the used car manager and try to catch them at the end of the month.

Then walk towards the door. If they stop you then you can get it for $20k dont offer them a penny more.

If they dont stop you then come back in a month and try it again.
