Just got back from Honda and battled for 31900 before taxes and other fees. The 31900 includes shipping fees and with taxes in Santa Clara county (8.25%) and some other fees the total out the door price came out to 34859.21 Sounds a bit high to me but I was willing to pull the trigger. In Nov. when I first came in to see the car i was quoted for 6.9% (first time buyer) and 4.9% if my dad co-signed for me, today in Dec. the rates are 10.9 and 8.9 respectively. There was a special for Nov. and I didn't know until sales guy told me, searching for lower rates at credit union before i buy the car so the big question is, 31900 or 34859 out the door a decent price? From the bay area if that matters, anyone care to say how much they paid? PM if you don't want it public. Thanks all

Can anyone that has recently bought a 2007 S2K publicly comment on whether $31,900 before TTL is a good price? Invoice is around $30,800 before delivery costs ($500?), correct?

I'm also in the Bay Area/Sacramento and plan on getting one around the end of December or at the beginning of January. I'm guessing that our prices here will be a bit higher than the East Coast/Midwest. PMs are welcome as well.

Any additional pricing info on 2007s would be welcome as I haven't noticed much recent pricing info in the Introductions thread. Thanks!

 

Freight, aka Destination Fee, for 2007 Hondas is $595 (for now). So $31,900 is $500 above invoice.

Is that fair? I dunno. Everyone has a different opinion about fair. For me, a fair price would be $500 off from MSRP.

 

There was a 3xx advertising fee which I vaguely remember hearing before on s2ki, I think some people said they didn't pay it.

 

I just got an 06 for 31500 OTD so you may want to talk down a bit more.

 

I would advise you to wait a bit or look for an 06. 31,900 is too much IMO for a 2007 that is no different from the 06 model(unless of course you want white with red/blk). I don't think S2K's are selling any better now than they were last summer so deals should be coming soon.

 

The problem is that most dealerships in the area dont have many left over 06s and this dealer has 3 but they are all red. I got a call from them last night telling me they may be able to get an 06 White/black with aero kit. I don't want to pay for the aero kit but I doubt they'll take it off. What should I be shooting for? 32000 OTD?

Fan- tax rate here in Santa Clara county is 8.25% so i'm not sure what your tax rate is in Virginia but 31500 OTD sounds good to me
