I'm a DD too, including most of our past New England winter.
The S isn't a car with much room, but that's never an issue for me while commuting. Long trips and vacations with the wifey can sometimes get cramped...
Anyway, definitely definitely definitely go test drive the car or just drive a friend's. We've seen lots of RX-7 vs. S2000 comparos written up here on the board, so search around for other folks' opinions.
