Thanks berlina. The funny thing is I'm enjoying this car and I haven't even gone past 5k rpm yet. I'm just cruising off the 7 gallons of regular gas that the idiot at the gas station pumped into my tank. Actually, I felt more like an idiot for not watching what she was doing

"Hello. $20 Ultra"....how hard could it be? The remainder was filled with Ultra and they gave me an extra $5 worth to sorta make up for it.

Still, I've been able to enjoy some light and peppy drives. It just loves to rev too

My only concern is theft. Sigh. Lame thieves and stupid ricers....they think putting S2000 seats in their crap Civics/Integras makes their car better. They need to realize that in the end, it is still just a Civic. Ricers are such a public eyesore and the bad thing is, they don't even realize it.
Welcome aboard . Some of us enjoy Civic's too. So stop calling us an eyesore (or Ricers, even though some of us eat a lot of rice) just because you now have a RWD car

Point taken but it was not directed at all Civic owners. What I meant is that I don't like seeing stolen S2000 seats on other cars. Civics, especially the older ones from the 5th and 6th generations, whether you like it or not, have an image about them, especially when they are distastefully modded. And to top it off, they'll have S2000 seats in them. And they're gonna be driven by punk kids.

Like I said, I once had a 6th gen civic and loved it. It is where I learned about car maintenance and had a lot of memories with it. It was a great car for its purpose, but it's the ricers that have killed it. Oftentimes, it'll be ricers and boy-racers that drive annoyingly loud civics with parkbench spoilers and tacky bodykits. That is what I refer to as an eyesore.

For what it's worth, mine was a silver EX coupe with a type-r front lip replica, Si wheels, bodycolor-matching side skirts, AEM intake, and stainless steel catback. I only installed the catback because my stock exhaust fell off. I generally like to keep things clean. Too bad I didn't know it was gonna be that loud. Sounding like you're at WOT while trying to keep under 3k rpm is pretty embarrassing imho and it's just unwanted attention.

I would've loved to have kept my civic as a winter beater, but that catback just had to go. The older civics benefit from tasteful light mods for aesthetics to give them a more modern look. I will not mod my AP2 though. I think it looks perfect the way it is.

to distastefully modded ricers (and for making themselves look stupid in public)
