I finally have a car I am proud of
Congrats! That is a nice upgrade. I went with the extended warranty to 100k miles. I can't say that I recommend paying extra for this but I wanted an extra piece of mind. I use mobil1 10w-30. My first mod was the audio system. Have fun with your new ride & welcome!
I finally took delivery of my silver 06 s2000. Just got finished detailing it. Leather was untreated. Any suggestions for a new owner? I'm going to do the raggtopp treatment sometime soon. I hear royal purple is the best synthetic. Any other choices?
I love this car. LOL. Nothing like riding with the top down as the sun sets.

I'm in Columbus too. Have an 06 too. Mods are K and N FIPK and Coilovers and some other interior stuff. We should definitely meet up.
First mod should be sanding down the weld splatter on the passenger side to prevent the notorious top tear! Hard to explain where it is but I can show you. Can DIY or take it to Precision Vinyl and Leather on 10th ave in Columbus. More than likely Mario will do this no charge.
Change your cabin air filter! Likely it hasn't been changed and it is pretty gross bout now. Then go FIPK. Not so much for HP gains but the night and day difference in the sound of the S over stock.
Oh and I'd save the $$ and go with Mobil 1. I've been having Oil analysis done over the last 15k and changing around 5-7k. Every report has come back excellent and suggesting going further on the oil. Just use the OEM filter.
