Hi! My name is Butch and I'm from the Philippines. I'll be having a spa yellow S2000 sometime within this week so I'm so excited. It's a second hand unit though but it only has about 33,000kms and the previous owner drives it only on Sundays.
Can't wait to get my hands on it
By the way... anybody from the Philippines out here?

Hi all!!!
I bought my 2002 Suzuka Blue S2K about a month ago...
I have been drooling over this car since its introduction in the Honda line-up. When i walk out to my driveway it's still hard to believe shes mine (well my banks HAHA).
My last car was a 2001 Acura 3.2 CL type S; and as much as i loved that car, this was a great trade (although i do miss the torque sitting in LA traffic on the i-5).
Great Forum... i cant wait to really dive into it!

Hi, My wife bought me an 06 Rio Yellow for my B-day. I have had it about 3 months but wanted the car much much longer. Great wife! Tamed the Dragon last weekend, GREAT! Any way looking for other S2000 owners in the Knoxville TN area.
Howdy all.
My name is Clint. I just got my 04 Silverstone from an ex-coworker in Tennessee and drove it up here to Cleveland this past weekend. The only drawback I can tell so far is that I am starting to resent my job because it ties up valuable time that I could be spending behind the wheel...
Also, interestingly enough, the S2000 was purchased as a second car. My other car is a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue, which I have always liked. Try going back and forth between those two in a day, though. The Honda makes every other car I've driven seem bloated.

Wow, what a birthday present! Damn lucky guy.
Welcome new folks. Butch, Chris, watch your oil level at every fillup (see my warning in the forum)

I notice the oil issue in the first month. when i bought the car, the oil was at "high" (of course) about 4 week and 3000 miles later it was below "low"
. I was really surprized; i have never had a car go through so much oil. Then again, i have never regularly rev'd a car to 9 grand! I switched to Mobile1 oil from whatever crap the dealer put in there, and 2000 miles later, it's still at "high". so we shall see...as for the tire pressure, i see what you're talking about there. Having one tire just 1 or 2 psi off from the rest makes quite the difference in handling. I had to go buy an electronic pressure gauge to keep on it.
Thanks for the great info... any other issues we should know about the car?
Clint, welcome!!!!
Chris, oh my... You're very lucky you caught it in time! 3000 miles is WAY too long to go before checking the level and topping off. Check it every few hundred miles. Oil burn is not consistent, so keep an eye on it. Good practice is to pull the dipstick every fill up after the car has been sitting for a few minutes.
Yes, there are other things, Chris. Do you know if the spark plug recall was done on your car? Best thing to do is remove the coil cover and coils and pull each plug out and do a visual inspection. Then, retorque them back in to 18 lb-ft (the original spec was 13 lb-ft, I think, and there was endless trouble from that!). Also, don't know if you did this, but you should change all your fluids given your car's an 02... Hydrophilic (water absorbing) fluids particularly -- brake and clutch, that is!
There's also interior and exterior care (pay a visit to the wash / wax forum)...
