hey sam here just got a 02 sebring silver s2k on last thursday on 12/21
I love this car just getting used to rear wheel though

 

I picked up my S2000 on the 27th of December. It is Laguna Blue and didn't make it one stop light before someone hit it! I'm not kidding.

We were sitting at the first light after picking it up for about 2mins (heavy traffic because of the holidays and a long light). When all of a sudden there is a terrible thud and the car jolted. I immediately knew what had just happened, but didn't want to look. We pulled over and the lady was saying something about how she just closed her eyes and then the next thing she knew she hit me. I think she fell asleep or was on medication. In either case shouldn't be operating a car.

The screw from the front plate made a very small scratch (she did just roll into me), but otherwise the car is fine. I'm not happy about it, but it is actually kind of funny. I mean not even ONE LIGHT.

This car is truly awesome! I love how precise everything is. The car has a few quirks and I understand why some people don't like it, but I'm more then happy to live with the quirks. I wish every car was like this. In short if you love driving and like a car that is precise you have to get one.

Sam, heads up on the MY02 that you should check oil at every fill-up. Our cars (can) have an appetite for oil that is normal but needs to be watched.

gunderwood, that's too bad. Not a good sign, but honestly you're lucky that's all that happened with someone on meds hitting you... You're right; she probably shouldn't be driving!

Hello everybody!!! I'm Alex, from southern california. Just got bitten by the S2K bug about a month ago, and now I can't stop thinking about it. Went last week to the steelership and test drove two of them...wow the feeling is so amazing in the cockpit. anyhow, I'm looking to get myself in a S2k around June/July time frame! until then I'll be here and there learning all I can about the car.

 

Hey y'all, name is Rene from SD. Always liked S2ks but as my cuzin above said, I'm really diggin them lately. I drive a 99 Si that is slightly modified but I really want an S. I plan to keep the Si as my daily and the S as my weekend car. Anyway, glad to meet y'all.
