It does. I feel very fortunate to have an S2000, especially since they are out of production. I've driven an older AP1 before, but just briefly. After driving this car for a while, it proves to be a unique and very enjoyable driving experience. IMO it appears to handle as well as the NSX (considering my limited experience with the S2K so far). At some point in the future I would like to see how it compares to my ITR on the track. Stock-for-stock, there would be no comparison, but my ITR is a purpose-built track-day car, so the performance may be similar. This site is filled with friendly people, so far I'm quite impressed. It's very much like NSXPrime. Thanks again for the comments guys, you do an excellent job of making us newbies feel welcome here!

Do yourself a favor and get seat locks and alarm asap.

I recently bought an 04 bb with 17k miles. It was beautiful (my 2nd s). 6 days after purchase, my roof was slashed, and my basically brand new seats stolen. Luckily they left everything else and the car wasnt totaled. My new seats are no where near what the original ones were

Great car and awesome find. Enjoy it!

Do us a favor and post pics of the NSX and ITR along with the S in the gallery! Some of my favorite cars right there. If you had a Supra I'd be robbing you! JK

Welcome to the board and congrats on your new purchase!

Thanks for letting me know about your experience with the seats, I'm sad to hear about it though. I have a regular alarm plus a motion-sensing option, but I'll need to add the seat locks, since my seats are like new as well. Fortunately there are security cameras everywhere where I park when I DD the car.

I should have posted photos of the cars in time for Labor Day; Red,White and Blue! Sorry no Supra though, the wife would kill me if I bought yet another car.

Thanks guys for the welcome...
