Hi guys. Recently bought an AP1 a couple of weeks ago and have been loving it. I've owned 3 SC300s the last few years 2 of them being high HP turbo cars. My daily driver SC if for sale and my turboed one is currently being parted out. I'm sure a lot of that money will be thrown at the S.

On to my question. The previous owner miss shifted and did some damage to the motor. Since then a JDM motor has been swapped in. I've been trying to ID the motor, but have come up short on answers. Here's all I know. The receipt from the person who sold the motor set says it's a JDM F20C. It looks like there was a sticker removed from cover next to the crank pulley. I read there was supposed to be some ID info on there. The only other marking I can find is on the head by the intake mani. It reads F20C-1000

I'm trying to find out what year the motor was made, if possible. Also trying to find out if my motor has the weak valve retainer issue. Any info will be greatly appreciated. I've been searching for a while now, but am coming up with nothing.
